Trustees' Scholars Award

This award is only available to those students selected to move forward in the Trustees’ Scholars Award process, if you did not receive an email inviting you to complete the next stage, please do not proceed.

The UW Trustees’ Scholars Award is the premier scholarship for the best and brightest Wyoming high school seniors. Building upon the scholarship awarding process and to include consideration of outside of the classroom contributions, the goal is to learn more about students’ academic achievement, goals and aspirations, and academic endeavors.

Students have been identified by a committee based on GPA, test scores and academic rigor. They are invited to submit a resume and complete short-answer questions. These materials are due on January 19, 2021. A committee will review candidate packets and invite finalists to participate in online interviews scheduled between February 2, 2021 – February 9, 2021.

Students who receive the Trustees’ Scholars Award will have a four-year scholarship for tuition, mandatory fees, university room and board. To receive room and/or board in years two through four, students are required to reside in University housing and/or utilize a meal plan. Students must maintain a cumulative UW GPA of 3.25 or higher at the end of each academic year.

Students selected to receive the Trustees’ Scholars Award must confirm their enrollment at UW by May 1, 11:59 pm MDT.
