Nielson Summer Session Scholarship
Scholarship grants to undergraduate students majoring in the Energy Resource Management and Development program at the University of Wyoming, to cover the cost of up to 12 credit hours of tuition during a summer semester.
Eligible applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Declared major in the Energy Resource Management and Development program
- Class(es) must meet a requirement for the student’s program of study
- Must be in good academic standing with a 2.3 or better UW GPA
- Awards are given based on resident or non-resident status (or WUE, Child of alum, etc., tuition rates)
- If a student is taking courses at UW as well as another host institution and completing a consortium form, then a minimum of 6-credit hours must be taken during the summer session between UW and other institutions. Additionally, a minimum of 3-credit hours for the summer session must be taken at the University of Wyoming. Students must complete the Consortium form with their SER advisor. (Credit limits like this do NOT apply if all credits taken are through the University of Wyoming- this condition only applies if the student is enrolled in course credit at multiple accredited institutions.)
