National Western Stock Show Graduate Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship the recipient(s) must:

  1. Be a full-time graduate student enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours in the College of Agriculture at the University of Wyoming, majoring in a traditional agriculture production area such as animal and veterinary sciences, plant sciences, range and watershed management, agricultural engineering, or agricultural and applied economics;
  2. Maintain a minimum G.P.A of 3.0 based on a 4.0 grading system;
  3. Hold United States citizenship.

Both doctorate and masters level students are eligible. Priority should be given to applicants that were National Western Stock Show scholarship undergraduate recipients.

Fund shall be used to make scholarship grants to full-time students enrolled in the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture and agricultural sciences related majors. It is the intent of the donor to encourage young men and women with a major interest in the field of agricultural sciences to pursue and complete their education at the university level. Distributions from the endowment shall be used to support one or more of the scholarships, National Western Stock Show Scholarship, National Western Livestock Leadership Scholarship, National Western Stock Show Graduate Scholarship, and National Western Courtenay C. Davis Memorial Scholarship Honoring Clifford P. Hansen.
