George S and Martha W Kennington Scholarship

This scholarship shall be made with regard to both need and merit. Due regard shall be given to descendants of George S. and Martha W. Kennington who may apply for such scholarships. When all things are otherwise equal, need shall take precedence over merit. Said scholarships shall be paid from interest income only and shall be continued for the benefit of the recipient so long as there is evidence of normal academic progress.
