Albert H and Betty L Watenpaugh Scholarship

This fund shall be used to make scholarship grants to students enrolled at the University of Wyoming. To be eligible for this scholarship award an applicant must also be transferring from Sheridan College or Laramie County Community College where he/she has completed at least 30 semester hours or one year.

Scholarships should be awarded on the basis of merit, in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and service. Merit in scholarship should be determined by the students having maintained a minimum of a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 grade scale. Leadership and service should be evidenced by letters of recommendation from faculty and/or leaders in the respective communities.

These awards are renewable based on continued excellent academic performance at the University of Wyoming.
