Wyoming Society of Certified Public Accountants (WYOCPA) Scholarship
Scholarships will support students majoring in accounting with plans to sit for the CPA exam and pursue a career in the state of Wyoming. To be eligible, students must excel academically as evaluated through their GPA and SAT/ACT scores. This scholarship will be awarded to one student starting their freshman year and will support them as they continue to study accounting and remain in good academic standing according to the University of Wyoming bylaws and with a minimum GPA of 3.0 starting their junior year. The selected student will receive: $500 their freshman year; $1,000 their sophomore year; $1,500 their junior year; $2,000 their senior year; and $2,500 for one year of Graduate school – totaling $7,500 of financial support.
Preference will be given to students who are residents of Wyoming.
