Women in Conservation Biology, Ecology, and Education Fellowship

Fellowship grants to women graduate students enrolled in the Departments of Botany or of Zoology and Physiology at the University of Wyoming with demonstrated excellence in conservation biology/ecology and/or ecology education and outreach.

To be eligible for this award an applicant must have a research focus on conservation biology, ecology, and/or ecology education, not intended for graduate study in the College of Education.

The fellowship will fund studies related to
1) conservation biology and ecology, and
2) education to bring the science of ecology to the public.

The fellowship can be used for travel and per diem expenses for extended study, but not to be used to attend a conference where a presentation by the student will not be made. Applications that propose to integrate science with educational outreach are especially encouraged.
