Salt Creek Energy Excellence Scholarship

Fund shall be used to make scholarship grants to students enrolled in the College of Law at the University of Wyoming. Recipients of scholarship grants from the fund will be known as “Salt Creek Scholars” and will be selected by the Salt Creek Energy Excellence Scholarship Committee compromised of the director(s) of the Center for Law and Energy Resources in the Rockies (CLERR), the Oil & Gas Professor, and no less than three (3) of the donors to the fund ($1000 level and above) as selected at random by the director(s) of CLERR and as approved by the Dean of the College of Law.

The Committee shall select recipients from students who have submitted an application in a form in keeping with such procedures as are normally prescribed for applicants for scholarships at the UW College of Law. Applicants shall also submit resume (including law school courses) and essay describing why they are interested in pursuing a career as a lawyer in the field of energy and natural resources and why they should be selected.
