Wayne Montgomery Scholarship for Master's in Counseling

The Donor, Wayne Montgomery, graduated from North Dakota State University (NDSU) in 1981 with a Master’s degree in counseling. In 1984 he started work at the mental health center in Riverton, Wyoming. He worked there for 18 years before being hired at Central Wyoming College (CWC). While at CWC he developed an addiction program, and taught those classes as well as general Human Service classes through 2021. He decided to leave money for scholarships at NDSU, University of Wyoming, and CWC to aid students wishing to enter the helping professions.
