Impact

The Thomas R. and Cheryl A. Templeton Scholarship is available for students who are residents of Niobrara County, Wyoming and/or have graduated from a Niobrara County High School and are enrolled in one of the following majors at the University of Wyoming: Biology, Physiology, Zoology, Psychology, Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Kinesiology & Health Promotion, Nursing and/or Pharmacy. To qualify, students must have a 2.5 or greater Grade Point Average at the time of application. Additionally, if there are not students who qualify per the above criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to Wyoming resident students enrolled in a degree program within the College of Arts & Sciences.

The donors intend for this scholarship to be awarded to students who plan to pursue a career in a healthcare-related field upon graduation from the University of Wyoming.
