James A. Boucher, O.D., M.S. and Julie M. Uhlmann, Ph.D. Optometry Scholarship

Dr. James A. Boucher generously established this scholarship to heighten students’ awareness of the possibility of a career in optometry. It was Dr. Boucher’s intent to enhance the criteria for awarding the scholarship so that more students may be exposed to this career path. Following Dr. Boucher’s unexpected passing on September 20, 2020, his wife, Julie “Marty” is honoring his memory by enhancing the criteria to reflect the wishes of Dr. Boucher.
