CARES Wyoming College Grant Program

University of Wyoming students who have suffered financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic can rest a little easier, thanks to a new program aimed at helping them achieve their educational goals. Using federal CARES act funding approved by the Wyoming State Legislature, the temporary relief program is designed to provide up to $3,250 per eligible student for the Fall 2020 semester to help assist them with any financial burdens. CARES Wyoming College Grant Program funds are not required to be paid back to the university by the student.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a US Citizen (international, permanent residents, and DACA students are not currently eligible)
  • Degree-seeking undergraduate, graduate, and professional students (WWAMI students are not currently eligible)
  • Wyoming Residents
    OR
    Non-Residents enrolled in at least one in-person course
  • FAFSA is not required, but it is encouraged
