These awards are intended to promote and enhance quantitative research in wildlife and/or fisheries ecology. Preference will be given to applicants who are actively engaged in both the Departments of Zoology & Physiology and Mathematics & Statistics and who are actively developing or adapting new statistical approaches for wildlife/fisheries issues.
To apply, submit a single .pdf file that includes:
(a) 2-page NSF GRFP-style research proposal describing planned research including statistical analysis approaches to be developed or implemented and a budget section with an itemized list of proposed expenditures and justification (funds may be used for research expenses and summer stipend).
(b) 1-page CV that clearly lists name and contact information for your research advisor.
