This scholarship is awarded to outstanding junior undergraduate students in the Department of Zoology and Physiology doing faculty-supervised research in the laboratory sciences of physiology, genetics and/or molecular, cellular and developmental biology.

(a) 2-page NSF GRFP-style research proposal that clearly conveys the broad significance of the science, your approach to completing the project, and a budget section with an itemized list of proposed expenditures and justification.
