Scholarships to students should be in the amount of $6,000 each year and may be awarded to the same recipient for four years.
Recipients must be citizens of the United States, high school graduates from the United States, and enrolled as full-time students at the University. Selection shall be made without regard to gender, color, race, creed or national origin. The selection shall be based on scholarship, character, cooperation, industry and the aspiration of the student to make a contribution to his or her chosen discipline. Recipients should have demonstrated high academic achievement through high school. Scholars should maintain a 3.0 GPA average at the university level to maintain the scholarship through 4 years of college. If there is a period of time a Scholar’s cumulative GPA drops below 3.0, the Scholar shall be granted a one-time opportunity of one year (two consecutive semesters) to regain and maintain the 3.0 GPA.
