William and Charlotte Laycock Scholarship

This fund shall be used to make scholarship grants to students enrolled in the Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management curriculum in the Department of Renewable resources, College of Agriculture at the University of Wyoming.

To be eligible for this scholarship award an applicant must also meet the following criteria: be a sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate or graduate student the year the scholarship is received; have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; be a current, valid member of an intercollegiate or professional rodeo association at the time of application and for the year the scholarship is received [examples of applicable organizations include, but are not limited to, National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), National Profession Rodeo Association (NPRA), and Professional Bull Riders Association (PBR)]; and students from an active ranching family in the State of Wyoming shall be given first preference.

Recipients of scholarships shall be selected by the Scholarship Committee of the College of agriculture as appointed by the Dean thereof.
