George H Bridgmon Fund in Plant Science

Funds shall be used by the College of Agriculture, Department of Plant Sciences or it’s successor for the following purposes (in order of priority): to provide support to outstanding graduate students conducting applied research in plant pathology; to provide support for students in plant pathology or agroecology. Examples of support include, but are not limited to, financial aid, student travel, financial support for student field courses, purchase of reference materials or equipment for student laboratories, etc.

Recipients shall be selected by a committee comprised of the head of the Plant Sciences Department and plant pathology faculty members.
