Matthew W Shepard Memorial Scholarship

This fund shall be used to make scholarship grants to students who are graduates from a Wyoming high school, with demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, who have attained junior or senior status, and are enrolled in a program that leads to a career in public service, or international affairs. It is the donors’ intent that a preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the International Studies program; however, eligible programs include, but are not limited to, Social Work, Gender and Women’s studies, Political Science, Criminal Justice, at the University of Wyoming. It is the donors’ intent that a preference shall also be given to members and allies of the LGBT community.
