Alumni Association - Native American Scholarship


Funding ($750 per semester) is for eight consecutive semesters, provided the recipient maintains a 2.0 cumulative grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.

Recipients must be attending UW at the Laramie campus.

Award also includes life membership to the UWAA, a $500 value.

Applicants must:

  • be a spring high school graduate with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • have UW admission application on file
  • be a member of one of these ethnic groups in the United States: Native American

Please Note: Selection will be based on demonstrated leadership, participation in extra-curricular and community-related activities, potential to contribute back to the ethnic minority community upon graduation, personal statement, scholastic ability and achievement.

The UW Alumni Association Scholarship cannot be awarded to students receiving a Trustees’ Pride scholarship.
