Beatrice Gallatin Beuf Founding Fathers Scholarship

Our Founding Fathers were not only men of brilliant intellect, they were men of sterling character as well. Among them were two of my ancestors, Elbridge Gerry and James Mason, both of whom signed the Declaration of Independence. These men believed that no republic could succeed without the active support and participation in government of its outstanding citizens. This same holds true in every phase of our national life. We shall always need dedicated leaders—people of fierce integrity, strength of character, and strength of purpose. They must be individuals of action, endowed with an imaginative and creative trend of thought, whose bent is to use present knowledge to develop new and useful concepts for the future. With this in mind, it is my purpose to seek out students of this quality and to offer them my personal and financial support.

All applicants for the Beatrice Gallatin Beuf Founding Fathers Scholarship:
1. Must be citizens of the United States.
2. Must be legal residents of the State of Wyoming.
